All armor samples are tested in our labs for internal certification then submitted for third party certification with the US Military and the Department of Justice.

Extensive testing with elevated velocities and top end hunting loads are used to simulate real world threats.

Database of Armor Testing

All data from testing is kept for comparison for the life of each model, then archived for future development and reference.

Chemical Testing

All of our armor models and fibers go through a series of chemical tests for evaluation of degradation from bodily fluids, petroleum products and environmental agents.  VORTEC also utilizes accelerated aging and environmental factors to determine the life cycle of the armor.
